This is the kit to accompany a class I’ll be presenting to the Haute Couture Club of Chicago on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Kit includes pre stitched outlines for buttonholes on muslin and boucle, buttonhole gimp, lengths of silk buttonhole twist in varying weights, beeswax, plus silk charmeuse for bound buttonholes.
We’ll cover handworked buttonholes plus various methods of making bound buttonholes in silk charmeuse to finish the lining side of your jacket. I’ll also demonstrate Roberta Carr’s method for Spanish Snap buttonholes. The class will be recorded so you can rewatch as often as you like for the month of June, 2024.
This class is free to all club members. Purchase of the kit is optional. You can assemble your own if you prefer. Price includes shipping within the USA.
